When the mood strikes
Generally I'm not big into classical music but occasionally I am in the mood to listen to it. So today I pulled out the only CD of classical music I own, which I first heard parts of in a college Music Appreciation course.
I'm talking about "Symphonie Fantastique", written in 1830 by French composer Hector Berlioz (1803-1869). If you've never heard this piece of brilliant music, I highly recommend it.
That's all. No lofty words of wisdom to go with it. No witticisms this time. Just a recommendation from me to you.

This afternoon V and M wanted to go to the park to run around. There's a park that we go to when the weather is nice that is about 1/3 of a mile down the street from my apartment. Today there was a slight breeze to compliment a crystal blue sky. So I decided that we'd walk to the park, which was very refreshing. We stayed at the park for just about an hour, then made the walk back. A nice capper to a beautiful weekend. Hope your weekend has been as relaxing as mine.

Kudos to kc for taking the time to slightly modify my template tonight. Thanks, my friend.

I'll look it up on Yahoo Music and download it. Thanks for the tip, green.
Yeah, I like Classical also and when I'm in the mood for it nothing else will do. I'll get a glass of Merlot and sit and listen to it for hours.
Among my many favorites is the Brandenburg Concerto.
Your trip to the park with the kids makes me want to share something from today... Though I don't have kids, I went to see one of my good friends from Austin perform here in SA. He's a children's singer. Joe McDermott... wonderfully hypnotic to kids (in a good way)... check him out of you have kids 2-8... www.joemcdermottmusic.com
and of course, who can forget the brilliant way Kubrick used it for the opening of The Shining.
Ahhh....time in the park with the sun shining. Love it!
The template looks good, great use of space.
bryan, were you the one that claimed there's incontrovertible evidence in the Bible for the creation story?
I knew he could do it for ya! looks good!
