Good-Bye Rosie

Rosie O'Donnell is leaving "The View" in June, according to this article from CNN.com. The article states that O'Donnell and ABC could not come to terms on a new contract. ABC wanted a three year commitment and Rosie only wanted to sign on for one more year.

I say good bye, good luck and good riddance.

And it can't come soon enough.

I can't stand her, but she breathed much needed life into that show.

I'm sure they can find a less obnoxious replacement who can do the same for the show's ratings...

You know she is gonna just end up with her own show...then she can shout all the time about being a big bad opinionated lesbian!

'course if you don't like her green, there's always the radical option of not watching her show...

she's so last decade. Skank ho, not sorry to see her go. I wish that show would just die a fast death.

Oh, Hi Green!! Hope all is well up there

Good riddance Rosie.
Never watched the show. The clips of her obnoxious behavior and rude comments that made headlines cured me of ever being tempted to watch. And then to try to pacify the offended by saying it's okay because she's a comedian. HA.
I think the "Eat me" comment did her in.
Not to mention that's a mental picture I may never be able to blast out of my head!

wmy: she is too rude and opinionated. Look at Don Imus, he got canned (finally) for saying stupid, insensitive things. Why should Rosie be allowed to get away with it? Because she's a woman? Or a lesbian? I don't think so. And she did have her own talk show and she gave it up!

ag: the only time I've seen this show is when my sister has it on in the morning occasionally. But I'll tell you I won't get out of bed to watch it. Though that hottie Elisabeth Hasselbeck may be worth it...

bluez: how you doin' there? Gotta love that Sox-Yankee series last weekend. I'm sure the Yanks will win one this weekend... ;>)

kayla: I hope you can blast that comment/image from Rosie out of your head! Like I said, why should Imus be censored for saying stuff like that and Rosie be able to get away with it? Not that I'm an Imus fan either...

If you're going to be given a forum like that you ought to be responsible with it. I won't miss her on the air at all.

I think shows like this should be banned anyway, because all they do is contribute to the overall banality and zombie-like adherence to the rules that is symptomatic of what's wrong with this nation- Rosie is an obnoxious bitch, true, but she keeps it real and in this current media climate, that makes you dangerous and disposable.
