Obama makes it official

Now here's a candidate that I think I could get behind. So far what he says sounds good. Now, let's see over the next year plus how he does in the primaries and what he wants to accomplish if he gets elected to the Presidency.

With lame-o duck King George ineligible to run again, it will be interesting to see how the political field from both parties shapes up from now until the election.

No matter how smart Hillary Rodham Clinton may be, I do not think America is collectively ready for a female President. So, at this point, I think the best chance for another Republican to win the White House in 2008 would be if Hillary ends up as the Democratic nominee.
