Snow flies

I despise snow flies, don't you?

They're supposed to be flying around pretty much all day.

Most of them went away but now they are back tormenting me yet again.

Driving through snow flies is never fun. Gotta do that today too.

No way around it. None that I can see, anyway.

6"-10" when all is done, or so say the weather gnomes on television.

What, you've never heard of Snow Flies? {gasp, horror!}

Snow Flies are imaginary cold weather insects that I made up on the spot today to note that we're getting snow today in MA/NH

It's actually a play on words - because the snow is flying (falling) all over the place.

I wish we'd get a good snow here. The past few days it's been mostly sleet and ice:(

Jlee don't feel bad I'm in Michigan and thought "hmmm must be an East Coast thing I don't remember LOL'n"
I thought a snow fly might be the snow flying off of vehicles as you are driving down the road...usually in large splots that hit the windshield blinding you until you get the wipers going.
Or I thought...snow drifts...maybe...
But low and behold it is just falling snow....good to know LOL'n.
Green sorry you are getting that system...it went South of us.

ee: you can have all of the snow we got.

k~: what you describe could be snow flies, too! No worries about the snow. You come to expect weird weather living in New England. We almost hit 60 earlier this week.

I suspect the weather is just as weird in Michigan.

That system left us with a bit of freezing rain, sleet, which wasn't too bad as it didn't last too long.
Snow sucks no matter what you call it!
